PTO Ski is an authorized Stöckli dealer serving Portland, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Hillsboro, and Mt. Hood skiers. Unlike online-only sellers, every Stöckli we sell comes with full Swiss manufacturer warranty, expert fitting from certified staff, and in-house tuning by technicians who personally ski the lineup.
Most ski brands produce at industrial scale across multiple factories. Stöckli builds every pair by hand in Malters, Switzerland — same factory tradition since 1935. The result is tighter quality control, a livelier feel underfoot, and a base finish that glides faster out of the box than anything else on our wall.

Visit us in Beaverton →Yes. The Laser SC is one of Stöckli's most popular all-rounders specifically because it works from upper-beginner through expert. It's forgiving enough to learn on (PTO Forgiveness score: 9/10) but has real edge grip when you push it. For true beginners we'd recommend a softer all-mountain ski first.

Stöckli race and performance skis (Laser SL, Laser WRT, WRT Laser Pro) use the SRT plate-and-binding system engineered in-house. All-mountain models like the Montero and Stormrider use standard flat-mount and accept any alpine binding. We mount and adjust all bindings in-house.
Most premium ski brands produce industrially across multiple factories. Stöckli is hand-finished in Malters, Switzerland. The skis typically cost 15–25% more but deliver tighter tolerances, livelier flex, and better edge hold — particularly noticeable on hard snow and ice.
Yes. PTO Ski has full in-house tuning: stone grinds, edge bevels, hot wax, and base repair. We tune our own Stöckli demo fleet and know exactly what each model wants. Drop-off and same-week turnaround in Beaverton.
Use the Stöckli Positioning Map above: choose your axis (on-piste vs off-piste, approachable vs technical). For most Mt. Hood skiers we recommend the Laser MX (front-side carver), Montero AW (all-mountain), or Stormrider 95 (powder-leaning all-mountain).
